This Privacy Policy applies to the “Into The Ocean by Maggie Weakley” website. This Privacy Policy describes the information Maggie collects on the Site, how it is used and your options with respect to its use. By accessing or using this Site you indicate your agreement to this Privacy Policy. In General. The information you provide is used to process transactions, improve Maggie’s products and services, and communicate with you as needed. We do share your information with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Site, conducting our business, and servicing customers and visitors, such as our payment processing system, our inventory shop management system, etc. These trusted third parties agree to keep this information confidential. Maggie does not share your personal information with unrelated third parties.

Personally-Identifying Information. In order for you to make purchases from the Site, we collect your name, company name (if applicable), address, email address, phone number(s), and credit card details. This data is shared with our third-party transaction processor(s). In order to sign up for our mailing list, you are required to submit your name and email address. This mailing list data is shared with our email service processor(s). 

Non-Personally Identifying Information. Like most website operators, Maggie collects non-personally identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Maggie’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how visitors use the Site.  We will also track products you’ve viewed: we’ll use this to, for example, show you products you’ve recently viewed. We will collect your location and IP address and we’ll use this for purposes like estimating taxes and shipping

Contact forms. If you fill out a contact form we retain this data so we may contact you in reply.

You agree that Maggie is not responsible for any intercepted information shared through the Site without our knowledge or permission and you release Maggie from claims arising out of or related to the use of such information.

We do not endorse and are not responsible for the information practices or privacy policies of any other website.  If you decide to access any other website that may be linked to or from Maggie’s Site you should consult that website’s privacy policy.

Maggie uses cookies to help identify and track visitors, their usage of the Site, and their access preferences. We’ll also use cookies to keep track of cart contents while you’re browsing our site. Who do we share your data with? Google and Facebook.

How long do we retain your data? If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
